My work starts with the fleeting glimpses of nature that cause me to stop and wonder. Whether it’s trees silhouetted against a night sky, reeds rippling in the wind, a tumbling waterfall, a frosty spider’s web, or a misty shore line, I try to convey the forces at work and the complex natural textures we encounter.

I work through a range of print processes - drypoint, etching, screen print and monotypes - and through paint and charcoal, always eager to experiment.
